Who We Are

Environmental action with humanitarian purpose

Sudan Zero Waste (SZWO) is a Sudanese non-profit organization that has expanded from its core mission of promoting waste management and environmental sustainability to become an integrated humanitarian and recovery actor. In response to the ongoing crisis, SZWO now delivers essential WASH services, emergency shelter, and protection support while maintaining its commitment to environmental health.

Our work connects urgent support with long-term recovery. That means responding to immediate needs while strengthening systems that help communities move forward with safety, health, and resilience.
